For nearly two decades, founders Jerome Toliver and Mauricio Berber provided organizations, large and small, public and private, with telematics solutions across the U.S. becoming industry experts.

Several years ago, there was a meeting with a prospect who fully understood and recognized all the benefits associated with utilizing and adopting telematics. Their only reservation was that not all managers would use the data. This would create inconsistency within the organization regarding the expectations associated with driver behavior and expose them to willful negligence.

Mauricio and Jerome thought long and hard about this issue. It began to make them think, “how could we help a fleet or risk manager use the existing telematics data to manage driver behavior without a burden placed upon management?” They searched for a solution in the market, but one simply did not exist.

Through their research, they found a broken system. This system included the same tired, outdated, and long driver training that had been around for decades. The problem with the existing system is that it is extremely time-consuming, non-scalable, and inconsistent across multiple levels of management. This system requires managers to review telematics reports or scorecards, identify bad drivers, assign training, reach out to drivers, bring them in to discuss, then finally document the conversation.
